I shared the contents of that article along with some very specific details and events for 2017 at a ministry roundtable in December of last year. I will share just a few of the things that the Lord revealed and showed me through a season of fasting and prayer in December 2016 that I believe to be significant for 2017. Remember that our calendar year 2017 is actuallythe Hebrew year 5777 meaning, THE YEAR OF THE RULING SWORD. We are two months into 2017 and it is clear that the sword of the Lord is moving across the earth.

It is always healthy to evaluate our goals and objectives for the New Year. While we rejoice in the accomplishments of 2016 and learn from our mistakes and failures, we must not carry our disappointments and failures into this New Year. Forgiveness is a major non negotiable with the Father and is essential for success and advancement in the Kingdom of God. Many have found the grace to forgive others and yet unaware of the strategy of the enemy, they are still wearing the old garments of shame and guilt into this new season. The enemy is a master of deception and the accuser of the Brethren. Jesus bore our shame and guilt on the cross of Calvary. The Apostle Paul reminds us, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Rom. 8:1)

October has certainly been full of surprises! In the calamity and disgrace of this national election it would be easy to miss the spiritual reality that the winds of Heaven have been released into the earth realm. In the natural, this election will certainly bring a shift to this nation with the change of political power and governance. 

THE CHURCH MUST WAKE UP. This election is about the future of America. It has everything to do with your religious freedom. This election will impact my children and grandchildren! If you missed President Obama's address to the UN yesterday I would encourage you to listen to it. While the President declared that the world is a "safer" place, terror attacks are on the increase within our borders. This is a season for the "watchmen", intercessors to be vigilant.
